DTLR, Inc. in Illinois is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, maximize sales, and protect profitability through precise merchandising, inventory control, and outstanding customer service.

The role includes leading and developing staff, recruiting and training, monitoring compliance, managing expenses, and ensuring shrink goals are met. A flexible schedule and travel across stores are required.

• Lead store staff and ensure quality performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Model leadership to achieve store goals and training standards.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and training of personnel.
• Provide feedback on annual performance evaluations.
• Assist with expense management and budgeting strategies.
• Monitor shrink and loss controls to meet company goals.
• Supervise operational compliance, safety and standards.
• Support training in suggested selling and merchandising.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and a friendly environment.
• Assist with merchandise counts and inventory processes.
• Perform other duties; 40-hour standard work week; flexible schedule.
