Job summary

WHBM in Huntersville, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a welcoming, personalized customer experience. You will help build community connections and uphold our culture of hospitality on the sales floor and behind the scenes.

You will coach associates, drive sales, manage inventory and store operations, and help hire, train, and develop staff while ensuring brand standards and safe, compliant practices.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach a store team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Assist in hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, using omni-channel approaches.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management and daily replenishment.
• Build community connections through in-store events, philanthropy, and initiatives.
