Job summary

böhme is seeking an outgoing Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, driving sales and controlling expenses while upholding visual standards and brand integrity.

You will recruit, train, schedule, and develop staff, handle customer issues with professionalism, and ensure accurate cash handling and POS operations. The role requires leadership and a commitment to customer service at our Bozeman location.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• At least one-year retail management experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to count and perform retail mathematical equations.
• Excellent organization, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work POS and other store computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire store staff.
• Train Sales Associates and Leads for growth within the company.
• Address performance issues and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist in staffing schedules and manage overtime or breaks.
• Maintain a diverse workforce and positive work environment.
• Motivate sales staff to hit store targets and personal goals.
• Lead during sales contests and drive customer engagement.
• Resolve customer service concerns professionally.
• Ensure proper visual merchandising and inventory flow.
• Oversee cash handling and banking procedures accurately.
• Maintain POS systems and store technology knowledge.
• Protect assets and uphold loss-prevention standards.
• Cover store management in the Store Manager's absence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
