Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager to lead all store operations in our Quincy, FL location. You will plan and implement store processes, including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, selling, staffing and customer service.

You will recruit, train, and evaluate staff, manage inventory, and ensure safety and policy compliance. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and financial controls in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees and ensures proper staffing.
Provides training, conducts performance evaluations, and counsels or terminates as needed.
Sets pay rate recommendations and advancement paths.
Maintains safety, policy compliance, and regular communication of expectations.
Manages opening/closing, inventory, and in-stock targets.
Monitors sales, profitability, and shrink to identify opportunities.
Ensures accurate cash handling and store financial integrity.
