Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an experienced Store Leader to supervise daily store operations, coach Associates, and ensure excellent customer service. You’ll analyze reports, manage payroll and schedules, and uphold company policies under the Store Manager’s guidance.

Two or more years in retail supervision, strong people skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends are essential to drive results and deliver a seamless shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction and follow through to completion.
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
• Maintain high quality of Customer service.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in the Store Manager's absence to meet company standards.
• Analyze store reports to evaluate expenses and performance.
• Schedule Associates to meet business objectives while complying with regulations.
• Provide customer service excellence and supervise cashiers and service desks.
• Assist in recruiting, training and developing non-exempt Associates.
