Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire and train staff while ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
• Proficiency in cash handling, POS operations and inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies.
• Provide training, conduct evaluations and counsel or terminate as needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rates and advancement opportunities.
• Communicate expectations and coordinate safety and policy adherence.
• Open and close the store consistently, ensuring proper staffing.
• Monitor sales, shrink, and inventory; review ordering and replenishment weekly.
• Maintain merchandising standards, pricing, signage and fixture use.
• Ensure security, cash control and reporting accuracy; manage paperwork on time.
