Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Charleston to support daily store operations, lead the team, and assist with hiring and onboarding. You will drive sales performance, uphold service standards, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of retail leadership and 3–5 years overall retail experience. Flexible scheduling is required to cover nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals, customer experience standards, and operational expectations are met.
• Monitor sales activity and provide guidance to associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with inventory control, inventory transactions, and shrink prevention efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
