Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in our Aurora, Illinois location. You will oversee staff training, scheduling, and store compliance while maintaining visual merchandising standards and a positive team environment.

Responsibilities include running the store on the Store Manager’s absence, coaching employees, controlling inventory, and ensuring excellent customer experiences through product knowledge

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up.
• Administer progressive discipline when Store Manager is absent.
• Engage team members by creating a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives and brand standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, calling in associates during peaks as needed.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations.
