Job summary

Rural King is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Kentucky to partner with the Store Manager to run daily retail operations, drive sales, oversee merchandising and inventory, and ensure a safe, engaging shopping environment.

You will coach and develop associates, support recruiting, and lead with Rural King's values of People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations with the Store Manager to drive sales and ensure operational excellence.
• Monitor performance and implement strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Support scheduling, labor planning, inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and coach associates, conduct performance reviews, and foster a high-performing team.
