Job summary

Goodwill Southern New England is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, including donation processing, pricing, and sales performance. You will lead a team of sales staff, manage budgets, and ensure high standards of customer service and loss prevention.

The role requires weekend and holiday hours, strong leadership, and experience in retail operations. This is a full-time, on-site position in Plainville, CT, with opportunities for growth within the Retail Operations division.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3+ years supervising retail operations.
• Ability to read safety rules and write routine reports and correspondence.
• 18 years of age minimum; related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all store operations including donations processing and sales.
• Maximize processing and pricing of items to meet production goals.
• Drive sales through proper display, pricing, and promotions.
• Ensure customer service is timely and courteous to shoppers and donors.
• Manage budget, payroll and cash handling procedures.
• Supervise and develop staff; ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
