Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager for a Bradford County, PA location to lead all store operations and drive performance. This role emphasizes staffing, ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising and delivering excellent customer service.

You will train and evaluate team members, manage performance, ensure inventory accuracy, and enforce safety and policy compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory management.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire, train and evaluate staff.
• Familiarity with federal labor laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead all store operations including staffing, ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation and selling.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations and counsel staff as needed.
• Ensure store is properly staffed and open/closed each day.
• Monitor sales, expenses and inventory to optimize profitability and shrink.
• Maintain cash control, safety standards and customer service excellence.
