J.Crew Factory in Encinitas, CA is seeking an Associate Manager who will act as a key member of the store leadership team. You will help drive profitability by fostering genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement while providing feedback to maximize team performance.

You will manage a designated division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling) and partner with the Store Director to recruit, train, and develop associates, ensuring exceptional service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time retail management experience.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Director as a shared business owner to maximize profitability.
• Own your designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling, etc.).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Support Store Director with recruiting, training and development.
• Partner with Store Director and management team to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Ensure the team consistently exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various sales floor roles when needed.
