Job summary

Qualifications

• The candidate has retail experience, preferably in footwear or athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Capable of assisting in managing a team and achieving store goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without prompting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Execute action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, and scheduling.
• Stand in for Store Manager in their absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Maintain profitability by monitoring inventory, sales stats, and expenses.
• Lead staff to meet department standards and store goals.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per the manual and policies.
• Promote and sell Hibbett services and merchandise.
