Job summary

Buckle in Battle Creek, MI is seeking a Store Assistant Manager in a full-time, on-site role. You will partner with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to drive sales, deliver legendary guest service, and lead a team through coaching, recruiting, and training.

This position emphasizes mentorship, product knowledge, and operational excellence across all store functions. You will train Teammates, manage daily tasks, and ensure adherence to Buckle standards while fostering a positive team culture

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 1–3 months related retail experience or training.
• Leadership and training experience is a plus and helps drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and guest service excellence, greeting guests and assisting with product selection.
• Lead, coach and develop Teammates to meet Buckle standards and performance goals.
• Recruiting, training and supervising Teammates to support store operations and growth.
• Coordinate merchandising, store presentation, and loss prevention in daily operations.
• Plan and execute daily tasks with Store Manager to achieve sales targets.
