Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Bastrop, Louisiana is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager with overall store operations and administrative duties. The role supports all departments, promotes sales, and upholds company policies to create an exceptional customer experience.

The Manager in Training will assume supervisory responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence and help manage merchandising, restocking, scheduling, and inventory awareness to drive store profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.
• Is a self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets and daily operations.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Promote and sell Hibbett I City Gear services and merchandise.
• Ensure quality customer service and handle peak-period customer flow.
• Supervise store in the Store Manager’s absence and communicate inventory movements.
