SpartanNash, a leading grocery supplier and retailer, seeks a Store Director for our Omaha location. You will lead day-to-day store operations, ensure staffing and training, and drive top-line and profitability in line with corporate plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least five years in retail grocery with increasing responsibility, and strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills. Spanish is a plus; on-site work in Omaha, NE is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration or related field.
• Five years of experience in a retail grocery environment with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Two years of experience in an assistant store manager or similar level role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment.
• Strong strategic planning and business acumen skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Spanish communication ability is highly desirable depending on location.

Responsabilités

• Provide focused and effective leadership to store associates to develop a positive, high performing, customer focused store culture.
• Manage departments including staffing, training, performance management and career development; set department goals.
• Develop and monitor department budgets and assist in quarterly and yearly budget prep.
• Oversee store profitability: sales, gross profit, and controllable expenses.
• Ensure adherence to safety, food safety, HR, merchandising, loss prevention, OSHA, and audits.
• Ensure Merchandising and Inventory programs are followed and aligned with corporate partners.
• Implement and monitor labor and payroll expense control programs.
