Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at our Pleasanton, TX location to grow the brand through exceptional service and a distinctive assortment of beverages. You will support store operations, recruit and develop a sales-driven team, and ensure safe, compliant store operations.

The role requires leadership experience in retail, familiarity with POS and inventory software, and flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
1-3 years of work experience, 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience in retail.
Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer issues.
Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
