Job summary

Goodwill of Colorado is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Colorado who will lead a team of retail staff to achieve sales, donations, and community impact goals. This hands-on leadership role requires developing staff, managing multiple departments, and driving store performance with an emphasis on people and process excellence.

The position emphasizes training, profitability, and engagement with the mission to help individuals gain greater independence across Colorado.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some college is preferred.
• At least 2 years supervising Retail Operations with accountability for results.
• Proficient with office equipment, Word/Excel and UKG for staff needs.
• Ability to manage corporate email and calendar (Outlook).
• Strong understanding of marketing and retail principles.
• Ability to move to other stores within the region.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in meeting sales and donation goals.
• Oversee daily retail store operations across departments.
• Hire, coach, and evaluate staff performance.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and CARF standards.
• Support budgeting, financial reporting, and profit & loss responsibilities.
