Job summary

Meijer seeks an experienced store leader in Ohio to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor team members, drive sales, and maintain store standards with a focus on customer service and operational efficiency.

You will staff, hire, and develop talent, implement succession planning, and promote a safe, engaging shopping environment while meeting company goals and customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with team members.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.
• Ability to mentor team members and lead in safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day operations within store departments.
• Mentors and coaches team members to improve customer service and sales goals.
• Implements strategies to improve customer service and drive store sales.
• Maintains store appearance, product presentation and company standards.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning and development needs.
• Documents disciplinary actions and makes discharge recommendations.
• Ensures P&L oversight and shrink control.
