Job summary

AT&T in Ithaca, NY is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, develop a team and deliver best-in-class service. You’ll partner with a store manager to drive sales, merchandising, and guest experiences while coaching a team of retail sales consultants.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
• Prior management experience.
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with wireless terminology and mobility systems.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, partner with store manager to manage daily activities.
• Develop and coach a team of retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals.
• Support merchandising, product launches and promotional events.
• Drive sales objectives and ensure an extraordinary customer experience.
• Lead outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed.
