Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Jacksonville, NC to help lead daily store operations and drive sales performance. Partner with the Store Manager to ensure a high-quality customer experience and store standards.

You will assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing store associates, manage staffing levels, and maintain a safe, customer-focused environment. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3-5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and service standards.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of store associates.
• Monitor inventory and shrink prevention efforts.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to associates.
