Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees; ensures the store is properly staffed.
• Provides proper training for employees; conducts performance evaluations; identifies gaps and counsels or terminates as needed.
• Communicates performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinates meetings and events to reinforce policies.
• Ensures the store is staffed and opened/closed daily; opens/closes at least twice weekly.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify sales trends, profitability, and shrink; opportunities for expense control.
• Reviews ordering plans and inventory issues; monitors stock targets and BSR/cycle counts.
• Facilitates staging, stocking, and storage of merchandise following company processes.
• Ensures presentation, pricing and signage meet established standards.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and cash control procedures.
• Provides superior customer service leadership.
• Maintains a clean, safe store environment.
• Ensures store equipment is available to perform tasks.
• Follows SOPs and company policies; ensures compliance.
• Completes paperwork and documentation on time.
