Dollar Tree in Hot Springs, AR is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with day-to-day functions, organize merchandise, and keep the sales floor well-stocked and clean.

You will supervise and train store associates, open/close the store, handle payroll/scheduling, and uphold safety and loss-prevention standards. Strong communication and a high-energy, team-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and required to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting

Aufgaben

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities and communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for storefronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits) and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow them.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
