Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development in Moscow, Idaho.

You will assist with merchandise flow, opening/closing procedures, and adherence to company policies while guiding store associates. This role requires strong communication, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in retail management or a grocery/drug environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store records and cash handling.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays and stockroom organization.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged goods and loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing store associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe and respectful store environment.
