Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead teams, and assist with hiring and development of associates. You will help drive sales, maintain inventory control, and ensure compliance with company standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, scheduling, and coordinating onboarding and training with the Store Manager. This role offers growth opportunities and a dynamic team environment at Citi Trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3-5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer service standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, inventory transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training support.
