Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Antioch, TN to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is organized from the delivery truck to the sales floor.

The role requires strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Full-time position with opportunities to grow within the store leadership team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs from floor to above shoulder height
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure seasonal areas are maintained
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays to ensure approval standards
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow policies
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned*
