Job summary

The Children’s Place in Alexandria, LA is seeking a Store Lead (Part-time) to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap, opening/closing procedures, and Leader on Duty responsibilities. You will coach associates, uphold brand standards, drive customer service, manage schedules, and assist payroll while maintaining a safe, organized store environment.

This role requires 1-3 years of retail experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and availability on weekends; the position offers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates, including giving in-the-moment coaching conversations.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in all company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely, objective feedback.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Participate in the Leader on Duty (LOD) program to drive store profitability and customer experience.
• Process payroll weekly.
• Modify schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and ensure safety standards are met.
• Represent the company professionally to customers and colleagues.
