Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store. You will supervise staff, assist with merchandise presentation, deposits, and paperwork while ensuring profitability and loss prevention.

The role involves stocking, cashier operations, scheduling, safety adherence, and daily leadership tasks to maintain a well-organized shopping environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership at checkout and assist customers.
• Open and close the store as required, at least two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling and training of employees.
• Manage merchandise with stocking, unpacking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages and markdowns.
• Assist with planograms and store presentation per guidelines.
• Support store operations in the Manager's absence.
