Dollar General in Texas seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store under the Store Manager’s direction. You will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, and handle deposits while protecting assets and reducing losses.

You will also perform stocking, cashiering, scheduling, safety meetings, and adherence to company policies. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills and offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, operate cash register and scanner.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise processes: receiving, stocking, displays, and planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy: damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and controls.
• Support cash handling controls and cash deposits; supervise cash operations.
• Assist with store management in the Store Manager's absence.
