Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead in a customer-first, fast-paced retail environment in Texas. You will support the Store Manager with staff supervision, merchandising, and financial controls while ensuring security and loss prevention.

Expect daily cash handling, deposits, and problem solving to keep the store profitable. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to train staff, run safety meetings, and manage operations when the manager is

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control damages and markdowns.
• Support planograms and merchandise presentation per guidance.
• Ensure cashier integrity, cash control, refunds, and deposits.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
