Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Millville, NJ location. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, manage merchandise flow, and participate in opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining store cleanliness, assisting payroll and scheduling records, and supporting loss prevention efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and ensure fixture and display effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and recording payroll and scheduling.
