Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Philadelphia to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily activities, support customers, and help manage merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor.

The role emphasizes maintaining store standards, assisting in payroll and scheduling, and upholding safety policies while training Store Associates and fostering a positive environment for customers and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines and ensure staff follow them.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas neat.
