Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a dedicated Retail Manager for the Silverado Store in Las Vegas. You will support the Store Manager in day‑to‑day operations and supervise staff to ensure a smooth shopping and donor experience.

The role emphasizes coaching, training, and maintaining strong relations with customers and donors. Responsibilities include coordinating shift meetings, enforcing policy, and training new personnel to uphold ARC standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Retail Management/Supervisory experience.
• Ability to operate POS/Cash Register and schedule/supervise store employees.
• Must hold a valid Driver's license and provide proof of insurance.
• Must pass a background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Takes an active role with the Store Manager in daily store operations.
• Assumes responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provides coaching, training, and development to store employees.
• Maintains strong Customer/Donor/Community relations and resolves complaints.
• Coordinates daily morning and shift-change meetings in the Store Manager's absence.
• Supervises staff to ensure compliance with directives and guidelines.
• Trains new personnel on store policies and procedures.
• Communicates personnel issues with District Sales Manager as needed.
