Job summary

Michaels Stores Easton, MD is seeking a Store Associate to help customers find what they need, keep the store clean, and deliver friendly service at the front end. You will help with checkout and participate in omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).

The role requires the ability to stand long periods, lift boxes, and move merchandise, with a base pay range of $16.00–$18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Lifting and moving merchandise as part of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store appearance and cleanliness.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers locate items.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards.
• Participate in omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship from Store.
• Assist with truck un-load, stocking, and planogram processes.
