Job summary

Pendleton Woolen Mills is seeking a professional and dynamic Assistant Manager for our Eagan, MN location. This full-time role requires flexibility to work holidays, nights, and/or weekends as scheduling demands.

You will lead a team, uphold company policies, and drive sales while maintaining store presentation and customer service standards. A strong history in retail leadership and customer engagement is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5 years of retail sales and customer service experience
• Minimum of 2 years store supervision
• 2 years of higher education or equivalent training preferred, not required
• Must practice effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Deliver and ensure compliance with PWM sales and operating policies
• Lead by example to achieve sales and profitability through sales generation, customer service, expense control, visual presentation, and inventory management
• Partner with store manager to develop business and marketing strategies to increase store sales
• Provide leadership, training and development; retain strong sales teams; coach and manage performance
• Contributes to control expenses through promotional and pricing compliance, loss prevention, employee retention and following general store expense budgets
• Consistent written and verbal communication with Store Manager and Area Manager and other departmental groups as needed regarding stores performance
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and ensures store team is compliant
