Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Assistant Manager to join our team. The role supports the store manager in enforcing Town Pump standards and procedures, maintaining pricing, inventory, merchandising, and store appearance, and serving as acting store manager when needed.

The position emphasizes supervising staff, scheduling, and ensuring exceptional customer service while upholding Town Pump policies and providing leadership on a busy convenience store floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in enforcing policies and procedures.
• Help manage pricing, inventory, merchandising, and store appearance.
• Serve as acting store manager when the manager is unavailable.
• Assist with employee scheduling and cashier duties.
• Advise on personnel situations and policy compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in cashier lanes, shelves, and displays.
• Order products, ensure pricing accuracy, and manage inventory.
• Conduct basic store maintenance and safety tasks; handle bookkeeping and deposits.
• Supervise training and orientation of new staff as directed by the manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service and model professionalism and teamwork.
