Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor in North Highlands, CA. You will lead back-of-house operations, manage receiving, unloading, and merchandising flow while coordinating with store management to drive results.

This role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a similar retail setting, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive pay and extensive benefits accompany this leadership opportunity.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor)
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization are at standard
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to minimize shortages
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following company guidelines
• Manage workload and direct associates to meet productivity targets
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence
