Job summary

Cavender's in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Stocker to support store operations by stocking merchandise, maintaining inventory organization, and keeping the sales floor and backroom clean and well-stocked. You will prepare merchandise for sale and work with the store team to ensure an exceptional customer experience and efficient product flow.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely use store equipment (handheld devices, step stools, dollies) per policy.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to comprehend basic instructions, interpret documents, and apply them to daily tasks.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Associate must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Support Cavender's culture and drive Mission, Vision, Values.
• Accurately stock merchandise to sales floor and backroom following standards.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, tagging, boot pairing, and label placement before stocking.
• Organize back stock and merchandise to maintain inventory accuracy and flow.
• Assist with processing merchandise, transfers, special orders, and returns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and backroom, including housekeeping.
• Assist with merchandising projects, floor moves, and display maintenance.
• Report safety or inventory concerns to store management promptly.
• Arrive on time and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise or directing them to staff.
• Support other assigned store tasks as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned.
