Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Stocker to support store operations in Spring, TX. You will stock merchandise, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure a clean, organized sales floor and backroom to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities include inspecting items for correct tagging, assisting with transfers and returns, and collaborating with the team on display maintenance and safety. Flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Safely use store equipment (handheld devices, step stools, dollies) per company policy.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Read and understand English.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise to the sales floor and backroom.
• Inspect merchandise for quality, accuracy, tagging, boot pairing, and label placement before stocking.
• Organize back stock and merchandise to maintain inventory accuracy and efficient product flow.
• Assist with processing merchandise, transfers, special orders, and returns as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and backroom.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise or directing them to the appropriate store associate.
• Assist with merchandising projects, floor moves, and display maintenance.
• Report safety concerns to store management.
