Job summary

Avolta is seeking a Stock Hourly Manager to oversee stock operations, ensuring efficient receiving, stocking, and inventory control on assigned shifts. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with store teams to support sales floor replenishment.

The position requires strong supervision, knowledge of inventory systems, and the ability to coach staff while maintaining productivity and accuracy in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role managing stock or warehouse operations
• 3–4 years in stock operations, inventory management, or warehouse operations
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree can count toward experience
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock handling procedures
• Understanding of safety regulations and asset protection in retail/warehouse environments
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

• Supervises stock associates during shifts for receiving, stocking, and inventory management
• Ensures opening/closing procedures and safety protocols are followed; conducts shift inspections
• Coordinates incoming freight, reports shortages/overages/damaged goods with documentation
• Assigns tasks and provides on-the-job coaching to stock team
• Manages replenishment to maintain adequate store inventory
• Oversees returns, damaged goods, and vendor credits with proper documentation
• Uses inventory systems to track stock, process orders, and maintain records
• Maintains clean, safe stock areas and reports maintenance needs
• Collaborates with management on stock performance metrics and improvements
