Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking a Part Time Retail Specialist to support merchandising, inventory replenishment, and receiving merchandise while maintaining boutique presentation. You will contribute to exceptional guest experiences in a luxury wellness setting.

The role emphasizes product knowledge across categories, strong communication, and teamwork with flexible scheduling to cover mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of retail experience.
• Strong guest service and relationship skills.
• Ability to learn and operate retail POS systems.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to learn and maintain product knowledge across retail categories.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous luxury or wellness retail experience preferred.

Part Time Retail Specialist

The Retail Specialist assists with merchandising, inventory replenishment, receiving merchandise, maintaining store presentation standards, and supporting operational excellence throughout the boutique.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of retail experience.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building meaningful guest relationships.
• Strong ability to recommend products and provide personalized solutions based on guest needs.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn various software applications and retail point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to learn and maintain a high level of product knowledge across retail categories.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 95% of the scheduled shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience in a luxury or wellness environment.
• Experience with visual merchandising, receiving, inventory management, and stock replenishment.
• Experience achieving sales goals through consultative selling and personalized guest interactions.
• Knowledge of wellness, lifestyle, apparel, spa, or gift products.
• Experience working with retail inventory and point-of-sale systems.
