The Raley’s Companies is seeking a Schematic Performance Analyst to create, maintain, and execute store schematics and product assortments, supporting stores, Category Managers, and Category Analysts with accurate data to drive sales, margins, and the customer experience.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and three years of retail grocery experience. Travel to store locations, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and three (3) years of retail grocery experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Experience with shelf management systems like Apollo or JDA preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Category Managers and Category Analysts to create store schematics by category strategy.
• Create store schematics ensuring accuracy, integrity, and space management guideline compliance.
• Determine product placement and shelf positioning to improve in-store experience.
• Upload and manage schematic versions by store segmentation to meet reporting timelines.
• Coordinate with the CAO team to maintain appropriate capacity levels within schematics.
• Manage category initiatives and reset projects as the schematic point of contact.
• Work with vendors and internal partners to schedule and support reset activities.
• Generate reports, reset instructions, schematics, and sign-off documentation for store execution.
• Support reset teams during live resets by answering questions and guidance.
• Maintain product information in Apollo database (add/delete items).
• Travel to store locations to validate merchandising execution and schematic accuracy.
• Analyze sales, inventory, movement, and space-to-sales data to guide decisions.
• Recommend assortment and space allocation improvements to drive sales and margins.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of assigned merchandise categories to support performance goals.
• Partner with vendors as needed to support category initiatives.
