Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, Inc. is seeking a data analytics professional to develop and maintain action-based reporting tools supporting merchandising activities.

You will communicate findings to cross-functional partners to drive fact-based decisions and enhance company financials, focusing on category reviews and store remodels with leadership in merchandising. The role requires collaboration with category managers and shelf teams, plus experience in data analytics, SQL, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related area.
• Minimum of three years combined experience in merchandising, data analytics, project management or related area.
• Experience with SQL and report writing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively to achieve buy-in from cross-functional leaders within category review process.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings in support of category review process.
• Partner with category managers to deliver an excellent product portfolio to retail and wholesale customers.
• Partner with shelf implementation and execution teams to inform total store reset process.
• Perform business or statistical analysis to formulate data-driven recommendations that help the company achieve financial goals.
• Assist with strategic initiative work relating to micro & macro space planning.
• Develop standard, recurring, and ad-hoc reports for management and/or the department in an efficient and effective manner.
