Job summary

Cox Communications, Inc. in California is seeking a Solutions Specialist – CCI (Retail Sales Associate) to engage customers, demonstrate products, and drive sales while working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You will open/close the store, handle cash, and participate in workshops and events. Join a team that trains regularly on Cox products and competitive offerings, reports to store leadership, and supports colleagues across the sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to meet sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consultative selling.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customer wants and needs.
• Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention.
• Assist with the opening and closing of the store retail environment.
• Properly handle cash.
• Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos.
• Support fellow sales agents when needed.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training sessions.
• Will report to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and other team specialists.
• May be required to work in other locations within the same geographic area.
• Work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
