Job summary

Cox Communications is looking for a bilingual Retail Sales Associate who creates memorable customer experiences in our retail locations. The role involves connecting with customers, driving sales, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, with evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Responsibilities include explaining product capabilities, meeting sales targets, handling cash, and participating in workshops, events, and product demos.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).
• Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for a consultative, solutions-based sales approach.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, service-oriented team environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds for stock room inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customer wants and needs.
• Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention.
• Assist with the opening and closing of the store retail environment.
• Properly handle cash transactions.
• Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos.
• Support fellow sales agents when needed.
• Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training classes.
• May be required to work in other locations within the same geographic area.
