Job summary

The UPS Store Mopac & Parmer in Austin, TX is seeking a Retail & Shipping Associate to assist customers, advise on shipping, and manage printing and mail services.

This full-time role (35-40 hrs/week) offers on-the-job training, opportunities for advancement across multiple stores, and a chance to obtain notary certification with company support.

Qualifications

• Location: 12407 N Mopac Expy, Suite 250, Austin, TX 78758
• Pay: $16-17/hr depending on experience, with advancement opportunities
• Schedule: Full-time, 35-40 hrs/week

Schedule

• Store hours: 9:00 AM-7:00 PM Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Sat, 10:00 AM-3:00 PM Sun
• Saturday and Sunday availability required

What you'll do

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to walk-in customers and phone inquiries
• Advise customers on the best shipping options and take ownership of their shipping needs
• Pack, receive, and process packages for courier shipment, including Amazon and other returns
• Run print, copy, binding, and laminating projects for local residents and small businesses
• Sort mail for mailbox customers
• Provide notary services once certified (we'll help you get certified)
• Process transactions on our point-of-sale system and shipping software
• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe
• Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or GED
• Comfortable with computers; Microsoft Office or Adobe experience is a plus
• Clear verbal and written communication, including basic math and spelling
• Friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Able to lift 40+ lbs and stand for a full shift
• Available 35-40 hours per week, including weekends
• Retail, customer service, shipping, or print experience preferred, not required
