Job summary

Casa de Fruta is seeking a Retail Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations at one of its retail divisions in Hollister, CA. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, coaching staff, and maintaining store standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise shifts, manage cash handling, and support scheduling, inventory, and merchandising while upholding company policies and safety guidelines. Previous food-related retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of retail supervisory or management experience required.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing employees.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience handling cash, balancing registers, and maintaining operational controls.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations of an assigned retail business during your scheduled shifts.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop team members to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and daily labor management as needed.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, training, and corrective action when appropriate.
• Oversee opening, closing, cash handling, and point-of-sale procedures.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising inventory.
• Ensure retail displays remain attractive, organized, and fully stocked.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the business.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
