Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks to bring areas to standard.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every guest
• Demonstrate solid product knowledge
• Maintain awareness of all product information, promotions, and advertisements
• Demonstrate friendly and helpful service to all customers
• Suggest additional items to customers
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions at POS
• Ring each item on the correct key
• Keep cash discrepancies within +/- $5 per day
• Thank customers at the end of each transaction
• Handle difficult situations professionally
• Meet or exceed customer service standards
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance
• Stock the floor as needed
• Complete housekeeping tasks as needed
• Adhere to all company policies and loss prevention procedures
