Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will also take on shift management duties when managers are absent.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure; use outside purchase ledger.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately; stage returned merchandise properly.
• Invoice all merchandise before it leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule; clock in/out per policy; manage opening/closing duties and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
