Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Albany, NY is seeking a part-time Service Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, and support planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You'll engage customers with Rewards and credit enrollment, assist with BOPIS/SFS, and follow SOPs while promoting safety and a positive store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards.
• Unload trucks and perform merchandising duties to maintain in-stock shelves.
• Engage customers about Rewards, Private Label Credit Cards and enrollments.
• Support Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Assist with planogram (POG) tasks and maintain store recovery and recovery standards.
• Participate in SISO and AD set duties; support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model positive behavior for teammates.
